A former double junior world champion on the road and multiple world champion and Olympic medallist on the track, Chloé Dygert (Canyon-SRAM) is a very decorated rider who has had a difficult start to her WorldTour career. The 26-year-old started converting her track prowess to the road in 2019, and it was in that year that she won the overall at both the Joe Martin Stage Race and the Colorado Classic in the US, and then the time trial World Championships in Yorkshire. In 2020, she returned to the Worlds to defend her title, but crashed heavily and suffered a serious laceration to her knee. Despite being out of action, she signed a contract with Canyon-SRAM for the 2021 season.

The lasting impact of the injury from that crash continued to affect Dygert in the 2021 and 2022 seasons. She raced on the road at the Tokyo Olympics, where she finished seventh in the time trial. At the start of 2022, she finally made her UCI race debut for Canyon-SRAM at Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, but a bout of the Epstein-Barr virus and continued complications with her knee saw her once again sidelined for much of the season. A world record holder in the team pursuit, Dygert’s strengths lie mainly in time trialling, though in many ways it still remains to be seen what role she may take on in the European peloton.

In 2023, she raced a highly successful double programme at the Glasgow World Championships, winning the individual pursuit on the track before going on to become time trial world champion for a second time on the road.
