EF Pro Cycling and Cannondale extend partnership for indefinite period of time.
EF Pro Cycling's long-standing relationship with Cannondale Bicycles will continue after they extended their partnership for an indefinite period of time.
The news comes after they recently announced a new women’s team for 2024 which will be co-sponsored by Cannondale, EF Education-Cannondale.
EF Pro Cycling and the American bike brand first linked up in 2015 and that deal was extended by an extra two years in 2021. During that time they’ve enjoyed plenty of success including multiple stage victories at each of the Grand Tours plus Monument victories at the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix Femmes.
“I love that we’ve achieved these things as a team, from the riders, to our team staff, and Cannondale, always helping us innovate and get the jobs done,” EF Education-EasyPost CEO, Jonathan Vaughters, said in a press release.
“What I admire about Cannondale is that they are always looking forward, technically and culturally. They’re a brand that’s saying, ‘how can we go faster,’ but also, ‘how can we make cycling more accessible? How can we make cycling more relevant, more approachable?’ Our team takes a similar approach.”

Now into its ninth year, the partnership will continue for an indefinite period of time as the unique extension includes no set end date.
According to EF Pro Cycling, having an indefinite deal like this helps them to build on the collaborative work they’ve already carried out with Cannondale. This includes providing feedback and testing during the manufacturing and design stages for their bikes.
Cannondale currently supplies bikes for the men's WorldTour EF Education-EasyPost and women's WorldTour EF Education-TIBCO-SVB outfits but their collaboration isn't limited to the road with EF catching plenty of attention in 2019 when they first launched their alternative calendar, giving riders the opportunity to tackle a range of gravel and mountain bike races.
"Races are our proving grounds,” Marco Kind, managing director at Cannondale, said in the press release.
“They are labs where the athletes test and provide us with valuable feedback allowing us to continue innovating and pushing ahead. While we look forward to building an even stronger foundation with the team, we also look to the fun and excitement of seasons to come.”
Cannondale will also provide bikes for the new EF Education-Cannondale women’s team.
The new team was announced at the beginning of June and will enter the pro peloton for the 2024 season, although it’s not yet known what will happen to the existing EF Education-TIBCO-SVB team.
