New partnership announced between GCN and Dutch clothing company AGU as new GCN Pro Kit revealed

We are hugely excited to reveal GCN’s new Pro Team kit, supplied by our new clothing partner AGU. In this multi-year deal we’ve teamed up with the Dutch cycling clothing specialist, who also provide kit to WorldTour's Team Visma-Lease a Bike, to produce this top quality, technical range of kit.

This is the sixth edition of the GCN kit since we launched the channel in 2013 and we’ve gone back to our roots with GCN red being the prominent colourway. The new range of clothing will be worn by all of the GCN presenters in our future video shoots but will also be available for you to buy from the GCN Shop.

The kit is the same technical spec as worn by 2023 Tour de France winner Jonas Vingegaard and the Jumbo-Visma team. Last season, while wearing the AGU kit they took an unparalleled 69 wins including a clean sweep of all three Grand Tours. Team Visma-Lease a Bike will be wearing AGU kit again this season.

Who is AGU?

Pronounced ‘Ahg-hoo’ the Dutch clothing brand has been around since the 1960s, supplying kit like its iconic yellow raincoats and tough nylon bike bags to everyday cyclists. It wasn’t until the late 1970s that they got into the pro cycling scene, sponsoring the all conquering Panasonic team, and Leontien Van Moorsel, twice winner of the women’s Tour de France.

Now they also provide kit to the Visma-Lease a Bike Women's WorldTeam and the Dutch national team, where it was worn by Mathieu van der Poel on his way to World Championships success last summer.

And while our presenters might not have quite the same level of success as some of those great names, rest assured they’ll be riding the new kit across some epic landscapes and in some pretty significant races over the course of the coming year. So it’s good to know they have that kind of pedigree behind them.

New GCN X AGU kit available to buy in the GCN shop

As with previous versions you’ll be able to buy the GCN Pro Kit and other GCN X AGU clothing items in the GCN shop. Here’s a quick sample of what’s available:

GCN x AGU Premium Aero Jersey

We’re loving the new GCN red jersey and Ollie Bridgewood is particularly excited about the aerodynamic technology that’s gone into it, which he's hoping will make him even more aero. There are plenty of other features to help regulate body temperature as you get hotter as riding intensifies, but also maintain body temperature once you've cooled down. It’s available in both men’s and women’s fit.

GCN X AGU Premium Softstretch Bibshort

We talk a lot about the importance of bibshorts on our channel videos and these feature flat-stitched seams, a Contour chamois – as used in the bibshorts of Team Visma-Lease a Bike – and has neat reflective detail for extra visibility in traffic. Available in men’s and women’s fit.

There’s also a wider range available including thermal jacket, rain jacket, gloves, overshoes, socks and race cap. You can check out the shop for full details on all of those.

We can’t wait to get out there and start riding in the new kit and to see our community wearing this out on their rides. Be sure to share your images with us (#repGCN) and let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
