Bahrain Victorious
Strengths:
Matej Mohorič turned professional in 2014 with the Cannondale team and was quickly seen as one of the most promising riders of his generation after winning the U23 junior men’s road race at the UCI World Championships in Italy.
Moves to Lampre and UAE Team Emirates followed before he signed with Bahrain Victorious at the start of 2018. The Slovenian has won stages in all three Grand Tours, and two stage in the Tour de France, while his biggest one-day moment came in 2022 when he won Milan-San Remo after a daring attack on the descent of the Poggio. A solid climber with a good eye for a winning break, Mohorič has established himself as a key member of the Bahrain Victorious team and has a contract with the squad until the end of 2025.
The team’s Merida bikes are sporting a new colour but the components remain the same
